Greetings! I just had a night snack,I'm amazed that mum had a craving for KFC with use of coupons.HAHA.
Yeah dad & I went out to get some fast food & ate together :)
I feel quite bad to have eaten fast food,hadn't touched it for sometime besides the excuse of having A&W in Batam!
Seriously,hadn't touched a whole load of fast food in a long looooong longgggg time..
Alittle sleepy now,supposed to have called it a day by now.It's almost 10pm.
I literally wasted my entire Saturday day away by staying at home,idling.
I literally went out for the entire Sunday..
and..I was on a roll at work today! It was SO GREAT! :D
Felt so "ON" and motivated to work though I didn't sleep well enough last night.
But rolling back to yesterday..
Had plans to meet Stan from Citibank cause' he wanted to introduce to me whatever products & services he's representing Citibank for.
So what I had in mind was to have him talk all he wants whilst we get to sample cookies from The Cookie Museum! yay~
I was about to step out of the house,when he text me to ask if we could meet in the evening instead.. -.-
Something happened to his grandma & had to cancel that appointment with me & head down to the hospital instead.
Oh man.
Things happen.
I cancelled my appointment & felt sorta disappointed but what to do?
He had something so important to attend to & its boring to sample on my own at the tea room.
All dressed up & ready to go,I was itching to go out.
Thank goodness Luis was online..yaY~
I joined him & his friend to Borders for the sale & bought myself a book :)
The 3 of us bought 4books with 30% off..
But before that,I blew up & twisted a couple of balloons for dear's sisters!
Aren't they cute?
2 ppl even asked if I could give them one when I was in Borders.HAHA.
I gave some pathetic look,apologised with a soft no..
Thing is,they didn't even have kids! 1 was in about her mid-30s..
Another was in her late 20s..So odd.
Anyway!
Had drinks at Ya Kun in Far East Plaza with those 2 fellas,then I was off with Raymond for a dose of window shopping & high tea snacks!
I've not been to Far East Plaza for over a year,& it's changed quite abit.
Alot of shops loOk very good now too! I'm quite impressed..
We then walked over to Canele in Shaw since Raymond's cousin works there..
It was a mad house,very busy place on a Sunday afternoon..
Left to browse around in Isetan,which has been renovated in their 3rd floor of the department store..Nicerrrr..
Don't know how long it took to have a table ready for us & we were called down anyway with his cousin's help.
We had teas by his cousin's recommendations and 3 cakes to share..
(I've given up on their ice-creams in the menu,cannot make it..)
& Raymond can't be bothered about Macaroons.HAHA.
ITS JUST FLOUR & SUGAR..
So here's what we had..
the traditional french chocolate cake..which was the nicest of the 3 we shared..
A new york cheesecake which was quite jelat after eating halfway through.
And a strawberry shortcake which had its sponge part very dry,I think it's not fresh. -.-
Very full from the cakes!
I didn't realise he & I had so much to bitch about,plus the fact we have common friends mah.
& that he's now working in another new italian restaurant,am super looKing forward to drop by one day with dear. ;)
Quite glad to hear from him on his views of various restaurants also,plus lifestyles of others..
Especially the greedy ones who want EVERYTHING in life..
Dear shortlisted a few french restaurants for our first year celebration,and I named a few to him,Au Petite Salut and....
Guess what I was reckoned to blacklist dear?!?! I don't think Raymond even heard me saying Au Petite Salut..
The momen I mentioned Equinox,he had quite a bad reaction to it..
So..Yah..It his blacklist from what he knows of that place & who the chef is in the house,its JAAN!!
(I'm surprised too..)
Jaan has been around for many years & still surviving.I've seen the menu & it's not very impressive either.
Only expecting better quality of ingredients but how great can it get?
He hints us not to go there waste money! HAHA..wah I'm happy that he gave his opinion that I strongly am seeking to. I still happily thought of going there many years later for dinner a special dinner.wahHAhahah..
Can save the disappointment already man. :)
& Save up to S$500 from that dinner & eat at another french restaurant which costs a fraction of that price.

Well after all those tea & cakes,it was time to part to dear's place..
I was late.Darn!
We had a later dinner all thanks to me,& we stuffed ourselves up at Sakae..SO SCARY.
Felt like exploding man..hehe..
Dear,your parents are SOOOOO looking forward to seeing you back home next week :D
Now..I dont think I have anything else to bitch about,probably next time if I did discuss/gossip/bitch with anyone else..
I might just blog it out.And of course,I will filter my content first. HA.

I myself had a beef hor fun,and a cup of yuan yang tea.
Other folks had tonnes other stuff,but my camera was on a low,& it wouldn't be too nice to take photos of all their foods.
Got along well with 4-5 of them..But didn't really talk to the others..
